Iranian film ‘Blind Spot’ is to be screened at Iranian film festival in Switzerland.
Directed by Mehdi Golestaneh, ‘Blind Spot’ features Iranian artists Hanieh Tavassoli, Mohammad Reza Foroutan, Shaghayegh Farahani, Mohsen Kiaee, Niki Mozaffari, and Khatereh Assadi, among others, as male and female leads as well as supporting roles.
"[The man] has spent 23 days away from his family at sea. Struggling in a world of uncertainty, he gets back to his house in Tehran only to find out all thoughts racing through his mind are realized. He cannot deal with this situation until …,” a plot summary for the film read.
The film attended the competitive section of the 2017 Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
The Iranian Film Festival of Zürich (IFFZ), is being organized to fill the cultural gap between Iranians and the Swiss as well as the many foreigners living in Switzerland.
Each year the festival presents the Swiss audience with a selection of the best contemporary feature films, documentaries and shorts from all generations of Iranian filmmakers in Zürich.
The event is underway from June 1-7, 2017.
